Scope of Practice
I'm Dr. Quinnett Swank, EdD, LMFT-I, CTNC, a therapist and Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach.
Therapy and nutrition coaching are separate services. Therapy is available only to individuals residing in Nevada. Nutrition coaching is available nationwide. A client does not engage in both services at the same time.
As a nutrition coach, I help women build a sustainable, root-cause approach to their nutrition, one that prioritizes long-term habits and a healthier relationship with food and body.
This work is informed by my education, training, and experience, including my certification as a Transformational Nutrition Coach and my training in functional lab testing for health coaches. I coach women of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, and I take a trauma-mindful approach, recognizing that many women's relationship with food and body has been shaped by past experience.
In this role, I do not offer medical advice, provide diagnoses, or diagnose or treat eating disorders or any medical or hormonal condition. When functional lab testing is used, it is for education only, never to diagnose or treat.
I hold my work to the boundaries of my own education, training, and experience. If you need support outside this scope, I will always do my best to point you toward the care that will benefit you most, while staying within my legal and ethical boundaries.
