About Me

Hi, I’m Dr. Quinnett Swank, EdD, a therapist, certified transformational nutrition coach, professor, and author based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

My work sits where mental health, the body, and daily habits meet. My focus is helping women understand and thrive through perimenopause and midlife, the season the rest of the world keeps treating as just a hormone problem.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the emotional patterns that keep repeating. I also support couples who want to improve communication, rebuild connection, and feel more understood in their relationship.

Additionally, I provide integrative wellness coaching for women navigating low energy, burnout, stress, perimenopause, and menopause through my Rooted Wellness Method, getting to the root of what's driving the struggle, then resetting across five pillars: Fuel, Move, Regulate, Restore, and Sustain.

I’m also a wife, mom of four, and a woman navigating this season of life too. My approach is grounded, practical, honest, and compassionate because lasting change happens when support feels realistic and sustainable.

Many of the people I work with look like they are holding everything together on the outside while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in the same cycles on the inside. We often work on:

My Approach

My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - based workand attachment-focused therapy, with somatic strategies to support nervous system resilience and emotional regulation.

Instead of trying to get rid of anxiety or “fix” you, we focus on changing how anxiety, thoughts, and relationship patterns show up so you can feel more grounded, rebuild self-trust, and move toward what matters.

In sessions, we’ll work on:

  • Unhooking from overthinking and taking values-based action

  • Understanding needs, boundaries, and patterns in relationships

  • Reducing panic and shutdown and building nervous system resilience

In coaching we take this same whole person lens and apply it to nutrition, movement, and the daily habits that either drain you or support you.

Licensure

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist intern in Nevada, practicing under clinical supervision in accordance with state requirements. I am also a licensed school psychologist, which strengthens my understanding of development, family systems, and the dynamics that shape parenting and relationships.
