I’m Dr. Quinnett Swank, EdD, a therapist and Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach. I help women understand how food, digestion, stress, sleep, movement, hormones, and the nervous system influence mood, energy, cravings, body changes, and how they feel in their bodies.
Through functional nutrition coaching, we look at the whole picture: your nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, digestion, hormones, nervous system, habits, lived experience, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

The Training Behind the Coaching
My background as a therapist and Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach shapes how I coach.
Many wellness plans focus only on food, workouts, weight, or discipline. But your stress, nervous system, emotions, habits, body image, relationships, hormones, digestion, and lived experience matter too.
My therapy background helps me understand the emotional and behavioral patterns underneath the struggle. My nutrition coaching background helps me support the practical side of food, movement, routines, and sustainable change.
This is not therapy, and coaching is not a substitute for therapy or medical care.
But it is a deeply supportive space to understand your body, rebuild trust with yourself, and create habits that fit your real life.
To be clear, coaching with me is not therapy, and I keep the two completely separate.

Rooted Wellness Reset
8-week 1:1 Functional Nutrition Coaching Program
Rooted Wellness Reset is my signature coaching program for women who want to feel better in their bodies and minds through food, movement, nervous system support, recovery, and sustainable habits.
This program is for you if you are tired of quick fixes, restrictive plans, and the cycle of starting over.
Together, we look at what may actually be driving the struggle: under-fueling, inconsistent routines, stress, low energy, mood changes, sleep, movement, body disconnection, and the pressure to keep pushing even when your body is asking for support.
When appropriate, functional lab testing may also be used as an additional tool to help us better understand what your body may be communicating. This may include looking at areas such as nutrient status, digestion, stress patterns, blood sugar balance, inflammation, or hormone-related concerns.
Functional lab testing is optional and educational. It is not used to diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. I do not prescribe medication or manage medical conditions, and I encourage clients to continue working with their medical providers for diagnosis, treatment, and medical guidance.

Using a GLP-1 medication?
A GLP-1 medication can be a helpful tool, but medication alone does not build the full foundation your body needs.
Protein intake, strength, nutrition habits, stress support, recovery, body image, and your mindset around food still matter.
That is where coaching comes in.
As a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach, I help women using GLP-1 medications build the nutritional foundation, movement habits, nervous system support, and sustainable routines that medication alone cannot build.
Coaching can support you with:
Protein intake and nutrition habits that help fuel your energy
Movement that works with your body, not against it
Strength-building habits that support body composition and long-term health
Mindset and emotional wellness around food, body image, and identity
Nervous system support and stress management

GLP-1 support is available within Rooted Wellness Reset and Rooted Sustain. There is no separate program needed.
Swank Counseling and Wellness does not prescribe or manage medications. Clients using GLP-1 medications should remain under the care of their prescribing medical provider.

No. Functional nutrition coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for therapy or medical care. Therapy is a clinical mental health service available to clients located in Nevada. Functional nutrition coaching is educational and supportive, and is available virtually nationwide.

When appropriate, functional lab testing may be used as an optional educational tool to help us better understand what your body may be communicating. I stay within my scope as a health coach. I do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, manage medications, or provide medical care. Functional lab testing is used to support education, conversation, and wellness planning, not to replace medical evaluation or treatment.
When functional lab testing is appropriate, I partner with a functional lab testing company to make testing available. Clients are still encouraged to continue working with their medical providers for diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and medical guidance.

Clients should continue working with their medical providers for medical care, medication management, labs, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.

I do not provide medical nutrition therapy or prescribe diets. The focus is education, support, and sustainable habits that fit your life.
